Many Troop 16 scouts strive to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. To do so, they must plan, develop, and give leadership in a service project that is benefical to the community. Here are a few recent projects conducted by Troop 16 scouts, demonstrating part of our Troop's impact on the Greater Madison and SouthCentral Wisconsin communities where we live, work, and play.

Jayden W. - Supervised construction and installation of Little Free Libraries in Middleton

Joey S. - Supervised clearing of invasives and planting of native shrubs at William G. Lunney Lake Farm Dane County Park

Hank H. - Supervised restoration of Schurch-Thomson Prairie with the Prairie Enthusiasts
Zane B. - Supervised construction of orienteering course at Madison’s Door Creek Park

Tommy B. - Supervised construction and installation of bat houses and birdhouses at Edgewood High School

Keagan T. - Supervised construction and installation of bee houses.

Caden V. - Supervised new landscaping and hardscaping at Catholic Multicultural Center.

Everett R. - Supervised construction and installation of Little Free Libraries and reading benches in Maple Bluff

Will M. - Supervised construction of wood canoe rack at William G. Lunney Lake Farm Dane County Park

Joe H. - Supervised clearing of overgrown brush and rebuilt raised bed gardens at West High School

Hayden M. - Supervised clearing of brush and debris from forested area in preparation for a new public park in Poynette
